If you have got ISOFIX anchorage in your car, then congratulations! You have got the option to purchase ISOFIX car seat, a type of more advanced child restraints.
If your car is manufacturered after 2002, it is most likely it has ISOFIX anchorage. You may check below picture for easy reference as what an ISOFIX anchorage look like. New cars introduced after 2006 must have "Universal" ISOFIX anchorage for a minimum of two seating positions, as this is required by LAW. There are also "Semi-Universal" ISOFIX system which you are most likely to find in the cars that produced between 2002 and 2006.
So what is ISOFIX car seat?
ISOFIX is the international standard for attachment points for child safety seat in passenger cars. It is developed in partnership with the automotive industry in order to set up a standard, universal means of attaching child restraints , eliminate fitting problems common with the use of adult seat belts and improve performance in a crash by connecting the child seat directly and rigidly to the car structure.

Installation of Semi Universal ISOFIX Car Seat:
Simply click your ISOFIX-compatible car seat or base into position and secure it to the two ISOFIX anchorage points in the car.
Adjust the height of the support leg to make sure it rests firmly on the car floor.
Installation of Universal ISOFIX Car Seat:
Simply click your ISOFIX-compatible car seat or base into position and secure it to the two ISOFIX anchorage points in the car.
Attach the top tether to the third ISOFIX anchorage which is normally found on the floor, side of the seat.
Currently we supply Semi Universal ISOFIX Car Seats. These car seats can be installed in cars that manufacturered after 2002 with semi universal ISOFIX anchorage or universal ISOFIX anchorage, using support leg as the third point of attachment to prevent car seats rotate forwardly, instead of using top tether as the thrid point of attachment.
